Serena Williams handed wild card for women’s singles at Wimbledon

Serena Williams has been handed a wild card to play in the women’s singles at Wimbledon. The 44-year-old had already been given a wild card into the doubles alongside sister Venus after ending a four-year spell away from tennis by beginning her comeback at Queen’s Club.
